Tim Hudak Leadership Review Fridays!

Now rumours of Peter Shurman’s run to replace Tim Hudak as Ontario Conservative leader came as a surprise to us. As a radio host by profession Shurman brings very little to the table in terms of substance. Like all of Tim Hudak’s other radio and television host candidates there’s a lot of fluffing and puffing but not much thought that comes out of these folks.

Tim Hudak backstab

Tim Hudak backstab

Why does Shurman think he’s got what it takes to place that knife firmly in Hudak’s back and throw him out – like the Ontario Conservatives have done with so many other failed leaders? It may have been Shurman’s ability not to talk during the most recent election.

While Tim Hudak was crossing Ontario spreading his homophobic and anti-foreigner messages of hate, Peter Shurman was silent.

Shurman won the respect of many for his dedication to ending discrimination and hate speech through a motion in the Ontario Legislative Assembly condemning Israeli Apartheid Week on Ontario campuses. Why would Peter Shurman, a fighter of hate speech, not stand up when Tim Hudak released homophobic flyers which experts called “hate speech”? Why would Peter Shuman not stand up and say no to Tim Hudak when he attacked foreign workers?

Lisa MacLeod pushing Hudak out?

Lisa MacLeod pushing Hudak out?

The answer: just look at who Shurman has to win over in order to kill Hudak’s career.  The first is Randy Hillier, who refused to stop using the term long after Hudak’s foreign worker attack had became toxic. Jack Maclaren, who used the term “foreign workers” because he said he was defending “his” culture. And, Jane McKenna, who asked “since when did we become for immigrants?”

Rumour has it Richard Ciano who is running for Ontario Conservative party president is supporting Peter Shurman. Ciano has the support of Lisa MacLeod a big personality in Ontario Conservative caucus.

Look out Tim, this one is serious.

Pretty much nonsense. I’m supporting Ciano and I’m a big supporter of our leader Tim Hudak. As is Lisa, Peter and just about everyone else mentioned in this blog.

So you’re saying no one is trying make Hudak pay for losing the election? I’d have to call BS on that.
